Every 5-10 minutes after i log into the mine craft vanilla 1.6.4 and join multiplayer server my mine craft crashes

It says it thinks my mc is modded when it is a vanilla launcher downloaded off mine craft.net, the forge mod loader is a legal and repeated mod author loader and i doubt that would have anything ot do with it,
