When I press "Play" on Minecraft Launcher 1.2.7, it does not start the game. Instead it brings me back to the same Minecraft launcher page.

We bought a card from a local Gamestop store with a code on it to install on our PC in order to play Minecraft. Everything seemed to be fine and go well when we downloaded Minecraft onto our computer.

What I expected to happen was...:
On our Minecraft Launcher 1.7, it says we are "Ready to play Minecraft 1.6.4". I expected when we pressed "Play" that the game would start.

What actually happened was...:
What actually happened was that the game appeared to be starting to load as a new black screen with MInecraft 1.6.4 at the top popped up. However, after a short time, less than 30 seconds, that screen disappeared, and we were back on the Minecraft Launcher 1.2.7 page. We have never been able to play Minecraft yet.
