Golden Apple GUI messing up

I was on creative mode and I shift click on a golden apple then the 64 on the GUI messed up, there was a horizontal and a vertical line and the put it on the inventory block and then there was just a golden apple and there wan no numbers or lines and then I fed a horse one and there were still no numbers or lines on snapshot 13w42b
