Can't backspace properly on Mac - Snapshot 13w 42b

When you are typing on a sign and make a mistake you press the 'Delete' button on a mac. When you do this in the latest snapshot it comes up with Del and a square around it. So to actually delete the text you messed up, you need to destroy the sign and do it again. Please fix!
