Feature request: Raise Max Biome limit

I apologise for not posting this 'issue' as an 'Improvement' the 'Issue Type' field would only accept 'Bug'.

Priority: Very Low

This submission is a request to raise the max number of possible biomes within Minecraft from 256 to the next reasonable figure.

Currently Minecraft contains 12 biomes and 7 'Technical' biomes with a further 36 to come with the 1.7 update, totalling to a lovely 55 biomes.

With these new and amazing biomes being added it will sate the needs of most of the mod community for quite a while, but it also highlights possible issues for modders in the long haul. As Minecraft developers you have the rights, rhyme and reason to add to minecraft anything you please, Biomes included, however this 'byte-sized' restriction will soon be noticed by those who enjoy installing multiple biome mods.

I am not aware of any problems currently, not that anyone should be in the situation to create such a thing, but I merely wish to highlight this now so that it may be pondered upon when next the world save code is polished.
