Durabilty will not show on Enchanted Items

What I expected to happen was...:
Durability indicator to be seen on enchanted items

What actually happened was...:
durability indicator disappeared after enchanting

Steps to Reproduce:
#use a tool of any kind until durability bar is visible
#enchant tool used in step 1
