1.7 Shaders (Super Secret Setting) Doesn't Work

After seeing a video about the built in shaders in the snapshot, I decided to install it and try the shaders. However, after booting up the correct version, I activated the settings. It made the random sound, as it did in the video, but the shaders did not turn up. It stayed as default. I was using the default resource pack and was on the least laggy settings.
