OSX-German "Umlaute" don't work (äüö) also ~ and alot of other things that worked in the past .

Hello.
Some Minecraft Version ago
(I think the Version before the Horse Update)
I realized that the German Umlaute ä , ö and ü
don't work anymore in the chat .
This is a problem in Multiplayer , Singelplayer , Command Blocks and Anvil .
There also is a bigger problem . The ~ Sign doesn't works .
