Minecraft 13w41b server files launch the console with no text displayed and takes forever to log into the server.

Ok, so i saw glass panes were colored now in the new snapshot so i decided to update my server to 13w41b. I downloaded the server file, replaced the 13w38b server file, and launched the server (By the way i'm on a mac so I used the cross-platform .jar file). I expected for the usual "Starting the server" text to come up, but the console section stayed blank. It still took commands though, but they were invisible, but i know they worked cause the server stopped when i did /stop. Also, it took 5 minutes for me to log into the server.
