Extremely long loading front screen-with possible crashing

Launcher works good. Loading time of the client takes as long as a minute in present snapshot. Reverting to older snapshots/versions shows the problem to be the snapshot itself. The first couple times I attempted to load it crashed the game as if non responsive. Repeatable by clicking on the client while loading.

Updated Java to jre-7u40 both 32 bit and 64 bit Problem still there.
