Can't sneak on chests

I'm not 100% sure if this is necessarily a bug, but whenever i tried to sneak on some of the decoration blocks (chests, enchantment tables, etc.) i walk right off the block rather than not being able to pass it. Again, this may not be a legit bug, but I'm wondering if it is.
