Frames float in any new game created

I had a survival world with frames on the end of chests. I accidentally left the game running all night. Some of the frames disappeared. I created a new world, and at roughly the same coordinates, there are floating frames in the new world. Happens in any world I create. if I close minecraft completely, and load the new world, the frames are gone. If i load the old game, and then the new one, the frames are back, floating.
