Mega annoying Bed glitch

When you die instead of spawning on your bed you somewhere random...... put my minecraft 1.4.2 jar in the .minecraft folder and glitch was fixed so its an error only for minecraft 1.4.4

please Mojang can you fix this very annoying glitch as soon as possible because it affects my gameplay drastically because when teleporting from the end to the overworld I spawn somewhere far away from my home.
