singleplayer-multiplayer connection lag

I have an issue while playing minecraft where i got a "kind" of connection lag or glitch, what happends is that i recive somekind of server lag, when i break blocks i dont recive them, i dont hear my footsteps while walking, something that will usually happen with a bad conneciton.

but this not only happends to me when im playing multiplayer, it also happends while im playing singleplayer, wich kind of reminds me of the update wich makes server side the singleplayer, and when this happends to me in singleplayer has the same effects on multiplayer,

i have this bug/glitch very often and i dont know if this is part of my internet connection or its just minecraft.In fact this never happended to me when i played on 1.7 beta (wich was my frist time playing)
