Game goes to black screen when Super Secret Options is pressed

When playing on the new snapshot, I pressed the super secret options button so I could see some filters. This caused the screen to go black, although I was still in game. This affected both the GUI and the game it's self; all I could do is press escape to free my mouse and exit out of the program.
