rain doesn't stop

The rain doesn't stop.
The following didn't work to stop the rain.
/toggledownfall
/weather clear
sleeping in a bed
It tells me the weather is changed, undead do burn in daylight, but the rain animation just goes on.

Fix Information: (This appears to be an issue during transition from 13w38c to 13w39a)
It was raining in that world when I changed to the newest snapshot.
The rain animation didn't stop.
The rain was gone after closing minecraft and starting it again.
Now it works.
