Natural spawn iron golems aggro when sleeping in a bed

What I expected to happen was sleeping in a bed as normal, in a superflat world village, with a natural spawn iron golem nearby.
Describe what you thought should happen here

What actually happened was the iron golem aggroed and killed me after I tried to sleep in a bed. Became neutral again after respawn, then aggroed again on a second attempt to sleep.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a superflat world (didn't try it in a normally generated world)
2. Get enough doors and villagers to spawn an iron golem naturally.
3. Attempt to sleep in a bed near the iron golem without aggroing in any other way.
