Anvil on Torch Placing Bug (Possibly other blocks too)

So, just derpin' around, and I wanted to place an anvil, which I happened to click while looking at a torch. It removed the torch and placed the anvil. Just tested it with a sapling, flower, and redstone torch. Results were normal, normal, and removed redstone torch, anvil placed. Anyone wanna confirm or test out any other blocks like it?
