shrunk menu

when opening minecraft with 13w38a and i get to the menu screen (multiplayer/singleplayer) it seems to take up just a quarter of my screen. even on fullscreen it only takes up a quarter of what it's suppost to.

I'm unable to attach an image because i don't know how to take screenshots of the menu. PLZ HELP!
