Time-Stop-Bug Minecraft 1.4.4

When I start a new game in MC 1.4.4 i fall down while loading chunks.
then I maybe are at lvl 40-60 and i must dig up to come on level 64 where I can "breathe".
this is very difficult, without tmi-mod and creative mode i die every time.

then i wondering why don´t comes the night? i tried to click on TMI-mod at the night button, and yes its night but its very bright, i can see over 60 blocks, or so. so i install sign tags from risugami because with command [time] it shows the minecraft time, and its standing on 6:49:49 or so. and its still standing. in 1.4.2 it runs to 6:50:15, 9:45:47 and so on.
so its a Time-Stop-Bug....

yes i have a lot of mods installed but the problems stays without the mods (only sign tags to test)
