Breaking textures missing

Forgive me if this has already been reported, and my bad english. I've been looking could not find it.

So, I was minecraft snapshot 13w38a playing in survival mode, as I thought, I cut down a tree and I had the breaking textures. only after playing with the "super secret settings" the breaking textures was missing i can break blocks with no breaking textures. later on, i disabled Post-processing it was still gone and still gone after restarting the game and resetting the settings.

i found no error's in the console..
