Game Crashes when entering worlds before 1.6.4

When opening up an old world made before 1.6.4, the game instantly crashes. It use to run fine before the update, but the game has now suddenly stopped working. Creating new worlds seems to be fine, but joining already existing worlds causes the game to crash. Bug report;
