13w37b lighting glitch underwater w/potion effect

Lighting glitch underwater with respiration helmet and potion of water breathing.
What I expected to happen was...:
Respiration helmet lets you see underwater and so does water breathing potion so i thought it would increase distance to see

What happened when i did this was everything underwater thrned a bright white and you could barley see.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have a respiration helmet and a potion of water breathing.
2. Put on your helmet then drink the potion.
3. Then the glitch with the pure whiteness happens.
