Light errors

I was placing down random plants when I noticed that placed plants kinda "drag" light to them. I mean drag because it takes the last(higher) light level and places it below itself.

How to recreate
1. Start creative
2. Place plants around shadows

(edit): it happens in survival to with natural spawning plants
