Bug with typing on Mac OS X

When playing MineCraft on Mac OS X, i cant type the letters Å, Ä and Ö. There is also a bug that when i press the "erase"(Looks like <--, its above the "enter" button) button, it erases the whole word instead of just 1 letter. It fixes itself when i press the 3 buttons to the left of the spacebar. (Command, alt and ctrl). Its pretty easy fix on the second bug but its still annoying
