If I summon PrimedTnt and im in survival it doesn't do any damage (to my player)

it just launched me in the air about 2 blocks and my hearts staid the same
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go into survival
2. Type: /summon PrimedTnt ~ ~ ~
3. ...Or in a command block type: /summon PrimedTnt ~ ~ ~
