Bone mealing large flowers makes them drop entities of the same flowers

What I expected to happen was...:
Nothing.

What actually happened was...:
While holding down bone meal on the large flower, it started creating several flower entities, turning each bone meal into a new flower entity. It looked as if the flower was an entity fountain.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Put down or find a large flower (2 blocks tall. Not tall grass or fern)
2. Right click the flower with bone meal.
3. The flower spits out entities.
