Villager Reroll and Workstation Bug

I have some librarian villagers in a single player world in the newest release (as of 2/9/2025). I wanted to re-roll their trades, which has work just the previous day. But when I removed their work station, they didn't lose their profession. There wasn't another lectern placed down anywhere. Now my villagers are stuck with their profession and current trades until they die. Please help : (
