Breaking Animation Persists After Switching Game Modes

When breaking a block in Survival, then switching to any other game mode (where there should be no block-breaking animation) before you finish breaking the block, you can still play the block-breaking animation. The animation's state will persist when the block is broken and will loop upon repeating. This only works if you use the same item you were breaking with.
