No wooden trapdoors or stairs besides pale oak

When I try to craft wooden trapdoors or stairs besides the pale oak trapdoor and pale oak stairs it does not show any results. When I search up "trapdoor" it shows only the copper variants, the iron, and the pale oak trapdoors.
