Placing blocks and blowing up blocks within spawn protection

The bug

If you place a block just outside the spawn protection area, you can place a block on the side of that inside of the protected area. I can also use TNT to blow up spawn with this.

How to replicate: Join 1.5.2 Vanilla Server, Go to edge of spawn protection, place block, place block on side of that block.
