The Bug:

Test blocks set to start mode show the "Message:" text despite no text field being present.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Place down a test block and set it to start mode.
2. Look at the "Message:" text.

Observed Behavior:

The "Message:" text is visible despite no text field being present.

Expected Behavior:

The "Message:" text would not be visible since no text field is present.
