minecraft crashing constantly

I was trying to open the initial launcher, where the initial actions take place and then it gives you the play option, after that i would click play and continue to connecting to a server

When I tryed to do this I clicked the large play button (on the first launcher stage) and it crashed

How to recreate
Open Minecraft launcher
Click First play button
