End portal and end gateway blocks do not render block models if assigned

The bug

The 24w46a changelog (https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/article/minecraft-snapshot-24w46a) states that block entities given normal models will render them in addition to what is rendered with the block entity. This works for most block entities, however end portals and end gateways appear to be broken in this aspect.

How to reproduce

1. Download and apply the attached resource pack
2. Look at a chest
3. Look at an end portal
4. Look at an end gateway

Expected results

The chest would also render a lectern, the end portal would render lapis lazuli ore, and the end gateway would also render a lectern.

Actual results

The chest renders a lectern, but there is no visual change to end portals or end gateways.

How to fix

Make end portals and end gateways follow the same rules every other block entity does.
