Path and Rail Mob Issue

Mobs (known creepers and zombies) can't cross a rail if there is a dirt path on the close side of it (same as them). They approach the closest point on the path to the player, but won't cross. Creeper will follow player and explode, but will not cross rail. However, mobs can be pushed across by other mobs, e.g., pack of zombies.
