Minecraft Profile License Removed Despite Successful Migration
I am experiencing an issue where my Minecraft license was unexpectedly removed from my account, despite completing the migration to a Microsoft account in 2022. I migrated my profile shortly after the migration process began, following all necessary steps, and there were no errors or issues during the migration. However, I noticed later that my game license wasn't in my Microsoft Account anymore.
I don't know if this issue was intentionally made or if it is an error/bug, as I have not received adequate support or a clear explanation from Minecraft Support yet for more than 1 year, I'm reporting this in hopes to get this situation reviewed by a proper developer with jurisdiction in this topic.
Steps to Reproduce:
- I migrated my Mojang account to a Microsoft account in June 2022.
- After completing the migration, I continued to use my Minecraft account without any issues.
- In late July 2022, I noticed that my game license had been removed, and I could no longer access my account and play the game.
- I contacted Minecraft support, and they claimed that my profile was never migrated, which contradicts my own experience.
Expected Result:
The migration process should have been completed successfully, with my account retaining access to the game and its license.Actual Result:
My game license was removed from my account, despite the migration being completed. Minecraft support could not provide any valid reason for the removal, and my account is now inaccessible.
