Squid Not Spawning in Squid Farm V1.21.4

I did search but didn't find any bug reports for the current Minecraft version, only much older ones.  

 

I own a Realms server for Minecraft Java.  Our squid farm was producing countless squid before the recent patch, but now no squid spawn at all.  I saw nothing in the patch notes that changed squid or even any related things.

 

The biome is "Deep Lukewarm Ocean".  Depth is between Sea level and y48.  We didn't change anything on our end, they just stopped spawning.

 

If more information would be helpful I'm happy to provide it.  I don't know what else to share because the situation is pretty straight forward.
