Tab character cannot be pasted into the game

Discovered while testing MC-278221.

The bug

The tab character (U+0009) cannot be pasted into text fields, unlike almost every other Unicode character in existence.

How to reproduce

1. Paste this into chat or somewhere else:

   a	b

2. Use backspace to delete it

Expected results

There would be a visibly large gap between a and b, and it would take three presses of backspace to fully delete what was pasted.

Actual results

There is no gap between a and b, and what was pasted is deleted in two presses.
