Villagers holding shields wrong

How to reproduce bug:

• Get a villager
• Put a blast furnace next to it
• Get a trade where the result item is a shield
• Hold the item required to trade so the villager shows its trades in his hand.

Observed result:
The shield is held slightly off, similar to how it used to look inside item frames.

Expected result:
The shield would be held in the center

This might be because of my resource pack (I didn't realize that behavior before)
