Minecraft Java 1.21.3 Crashing in Fullscreen Mode on PC

I'm experiencing an issue with Minecraft Java Edition (version 1.21.3) where the game crashes as soon as I enter fullscreen mode. This is my first time playing Minecraft on PC, and everything was running smoothly until I attempted to change the screen size. After trying to switch to fullscreen, the game immediately crashed.

To troubleshoot, I adjusted the fullscreen setting in the in-game settings, but now the game crashes every time I try to load it, as it's set to start in fullscreen mode.
