Enchantment does not increase stats

I enchanted my diamond sword with the "Sharpness 3" but its attack stat did not increase.
The base diamond sword has 7 attack, with the enchantment it should have 9.
In the screenshot you can see that it is enchanted with Sharpness 3 and still has the base attack of 7.

THIS REPORT HAS EXISTED SINCE 10/May/2024 AND HAS NOT BEEN FIXED YET.
Therefore I am creating this report so that Mojang remembers that they have work more than 2 hours to day.

FIX IT NOW!!!!!
