Items disappear from furnaces when player is far away

I tested it many times (it doesn't always happen) and when you are smelting something and go far away then coal and items that you're smelting disappear. Also destroying furnace or smoker doesn't work, reloading world doesn't work, and smoker shows fire even that nothing is smelting in there
