"Johnny" vindicator instantly kills a creaking if spawned near it, but doesn't attack it if not

Vindicators named "Johnny" can kill creakings if spawned very close to them.

How to reproduce:

1. Acquire a vindicator spawn egg and name it "Johnny" by using an anvil.
2. Summon a creaking with a spawn egg or a command and look at it so it remains frozen.
3. Use the vindicator spawn egg a few blocks away from the creaking.
   → The vindicator doesn't kill the creaking and runs away from it.
4. Use the vindicator spawn egg one block away from the creaking.
   → The vindicator kills the creaking instantly.

Expected result:

The vindicator would run away from the creaking in all cases.

Observed result:

The vindicator instantly kills the creaking if spawned very close to it.
