Shears cannot be used on Pale Moss Carpet to remove side growth

I got around to try out the new Pale Moss Carpet but there was an issue.

You currently cannot use Shears on Pale Moss Carpet (by right-clicking). It does nothing. I probably assume it's only a work in progress but it would help a lot if shears can be used to remove the side growth on the wall, the opposite process of bone mealing Pale Moss Carpets.
