Mobs missing default eyes

It seems every mob with the default "Steve" eyes (white eye with black pupil) don't have them. I thought this only affected wolves and dogs at first, but I found out it affects multiple mobs. Attached are all the ones I found. Some, like the magma cube and the enderman seem to not have eyes, despite the fact that they don't have the default eyes.
