Using shift + "Destroy Item" in inventory does not visually clear it

In Snapshot 24w36a, when trying to clear the inventory using shift + "Destroy Item", the inventory does get cleared, but not visually, meaning all items are still invisible until overwritten by others. They can also not be used and behave weirdly. Opening the inventory also refreshes the UI and clears them. A video is attached showing the issue.
