The /locate command in creative version of Java 1.21.1 not working

What I expected to happen was...:
I usually put a command in like /locate biome Minecraft:jungle in my creative world. It will give me coordinates and I can teleport to the biome.

What actually happened was...:
It gave me error saying that what I was trying to locate couldn't be found in reasonable distance, even though one of the biomes I tried looking up was 5 blocks away. It would only give me coordinates for the exact biome I was in.

Steps to Reproduce:
I logged on to the game and wanted to look up for a swamp biome, but I was given the same error shown above. I tried it with every biome I could think of.
