Bucket items disappear when used in survival mode

Buckets disappear from inventory after use, though otherwise intended functionality still works. However, milk buckets do not disappear, and powdered snow buckets will place, but disappear after picking it back up. Video demonstration: 2024-08-25 21-58-51.mp4

No other testing done in other versions, worlds, or settings. Singleplayer world with bundles and minecart experiments turned on, only turned on LAN to turn on cheats so that I could test.
