Minecraft 1.21 occasionally freeze but game is still running, then screen flash

When I am playing on wynncraft, a minecraft mmorpg server, minecraft will freeze then screen flash. It appears random to me so I don't know what causes it. Then I am forced to alt+f4 to close minecraft. I have read other related issue but I have no idea how to fix it.
