a minecart with a player will jump further than a minecraft without a player

What I expected to happen was...:
i expected that the minecart would jump the same length with or without a player on

What actually happened was...:
i was making a jumping rail, and i found out that a minecart without a player jumps shorter, cus when i tried to take the minecart by myself, the minecart went further then where it used to land when no player is on the minecart.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. /gamerule minecartmaxspeed 128
2. build a minecart acceleration rail
3.make a minecart jumping contraption

4. try with a minecart with player and one with no player
